Small Claims Court
In Small Claims Court, you can bring an action for money or recovery of possession of property valued at $25,000 or less, not including interest and costs such as court fees-including the value of all goods regardless of the number of defendants.

Provincial Offences
Almost all provincial offence matters as well as municipal by-law offences are heard by the Ontario Court of Justice. Examples of such offences include:

Municipal by-law charges relating to excessive noise, animal control, or garbage disposal; and

Charges laid under provincial legislation such as the Environmental Protection Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Dog Owners’ Liability Act or the Trespass to Property Act.

Landlord & Tenant
The Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) resolves disputes between landlords and tenants through mediation or adjudication, resolve eviction applications from co-ops or provide information to landlords and tenants about their rights and responsibilities.
